Susanne Alberto has been a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructor/Fitness Professional Level 3 (TPI-CGFI/FP3) since 2008 ... a Kettlebell Athletics Certified Trainer/Level 2 (KBA/L2) since 2006 ... and a National Strength & Conditioning Association Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT) since 2004. As of October 2018, she has added Titleist Performance Institute World Golf Fitness Summit Presenter to her credentials.

Susanne has been a devotee of the martial arts since 1986, when she took a 1-day rape prevention class that parlayed into becoming an assistant instructor for a 16-week self-defense course. She continued formal studies in: Buka Jalan Silat, Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do (JKD), Arnis/Kali/Escrima (Weapons Fighting), Penjak Silat Mande Muda, Wing Chun, Hung Gar, Thai Boxing and Western Boxing (for conditioning), Yang Style Tai Chi & Chi Gung, and is a Lunar New Year Lion Dance team performer. In addition, she has been a life-long athlete, competing in: precision cheerleading and gymnastics in elementary school, swimming in high school, collegiate rugby and league soccer post-college, and was a two-time girevoy (kettlebell sport) first-place medalist when she was in her ‘40s.
